On July 6th, August 11th and September 30th 2020 Makin Lightin joined the #LightItInRed movement as part of PLASA’s #WeMakeEvents campaign and turned our warehouse RED.

The campaign aimed to raise awareness of the struggle the events industry supply chain is faced with during the Coronavirus Pandemic. All over the UK buildings lit up red to show their support and solidarity to our industry. 

Our warehouse was lit red by a few of our team and all under the strict covid measures on each occasion. On July 7th and August 12th we used our brand new Robe T1 profiles along with our existing stock of Robe 300 LED Wash’s. As well as our Robe equipment we used our Prolights Eclipse FC LED Profiles to project the hashtags onto our building using gobo’s purchased form Projected Image. Unfortunately on September 30th the weather was not on our side so we had to keep our T1’s inside but still managed to find cover for the 300 LED Wash’s and the Eclipse LED profiles.
